One-on-One Financial Consultations

Cancellation Prior to Scheduled Consultation

If you need to cancel a scheduled one-on-one consultation, our policy is as follows:

  • 48+ hours notice: Full refund or option to reschedule
  • 24-48 hours notice: 75% refund or option to reschedule
  • Less than 24 hours notice: 50% refund or option to reschedule
  • No-show: No refund provided

Satisfaction Guarantee

We strive to provide valuable and actionable financial guidance. If you are dissatisfied with your consultation for any reason, please contact us within 7 days of your session. We will work with you to address your concerns, which may include:

  • Offering a follow-up session at no additional cost
  • Connecting you with a different financial advisor
  • Providing a partial or full refund, determined on a case-by-case basis

Workshops and Seminars

Group Workshop Cancellation

For in-person or virtual group workshops:

  • 7+ days before event: Full refund
  • 3-6 days before event: 75% refund
  • 1-2 days before event: 50% refund
  • Day of event or no-show: No refund

Workshop Cancellation by Financial Literacy for New Canadians

If we need to cancel a workshop or seminar due to unforeseen circumstances (such as instructor illness, technical difficulties, or insufficient enrollment), we will offer you the following options:

  • Full refund of your registration fee
  • Transfer to another workshop date
  • Credit toward future services or products

Digital Products

Due to the nature of digital products, all sales of e-books, downloadable templates, calculators, and other digital resources are final and non-refundable once the download or access has been provided.

However, if you encounter technical issues with accessing or using the digital product, please contact our support team at support@financialliteracy.ca within 7 days of purchase, and we will assist you in resolving the issue.

Online Courses and Webinars

Recorded Courses

For our pre-recorded online courses:

  • We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee from the date of purchase if you are dissatisfied with the course content
  • To be eligible for a refund, you must not have completed more than 25% of the course material
  • Your refund request must include specific feedback about why the course did not meet your expectations

Live Webinars

For live webinar events:

  • 72+ hours before webinar: Full refund
  • 24-72 hours before webinar: 75% refund
  • Less than 24 hours before webinar: No refund, but access to the recording will be provided

If you miss a live webinar, a recording will be made available to registered participants for 30 days following the event.

Subscription Services

For our subscription-based services:

  • You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting us
  • No refunds are provided for partial subscription periods
  • Upon cancellation, you will maintain access to the subscription services until the end of your current billing period

For annual subscriptions paid in advance, we offer a 14-day money-back guarantee from the date of initial purchase if you are dissatisfied with the service.

How to Request a Refund

  • Processing time typically takes 5-10 business days, depending on your payment provider
